- Canal-side minimal and house, afterhours
A former boathouse on the Flutgraben, just before the canal joins the Spree, on the border between Treptow and Kreuzberg. It grew out of private parties around 2000 and never quite lost the look of something that had not asked permission. There is no reliable opening date and no published capacity, which suits it. The deck sits over the water under the willows, the operating company is called Fish Club, and the founder is Gregor Kraemer. Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin have both played here, and the place became known for minimal and house and for afternoons that turn into the next morning. A fire on 15 June 2019 took out a small part of the wooden terrace, and the pandemic pushed it close enough to closing for good that it crowdfunded. In season it opens daily from the early afternoon. The Hoppetosse boat nearby serves as a sun deck and winter room. It is a small place with a large reputation among people who stay out too long.
