- Collective-run techno and house with a garden
A club by Ostkreuz station, run since 2010 as a workers' cooperative, about blank eG, by a collective of equal members. It has a garden, a political position it does not hide, and the sort of finances that come with both. Around its fifteenth birthday in 2025 the collective asked for 150,000 euros to secure its future, after a cultural funding application failed, and offered things like a night in the garden for 300 euros in return. The planned extension of the A100 motorway at Ostkreuz has hung over the site for years, and the Berliner Zeitung has reported a Senate decision allowing a hotel next door, which an interviewee called an existential threat. As of autumn 2026 it is open and programming, with a run over New Year's Eve into 2027 on the listings. The name on the door is written like a browser address. For house and techno crews without a major label behind them it remains one of the rooms that will take a chance on you.
