Elske Maes became the label's first Belgian signing with Ledeberg in April. Anselm Reuter's album Heizkraftwerk, recorded over two winters, came out in October, five years after GLB001.
The GLB5 tour marked the fifth birthday with five cities over five weekends: London, Berlin, Paris, Hamburg and Lyon. In November, Reuter played the Waterfloor at Watergate in Berlin, shortly before the club closed at the end of the year. Round 5 was issued as a triple 12 inch.
