Anselm Reuter grew up in Rostock, where he played double bass in his school's jazz band, and moved to Berlin in 2005 to study the instrument. He left after three semesters and began making dub house in a Kreuzberg flat, with a contact mic taped to the bass and a tape delay in the chain.
His first record, "Köpenicker Dub", was also the label's first: GLB001, October 2019, 300 copies. "Schillingbrücke" (2020), "Görlitzer" (2021) and the triple album "Heizkraftwerk" (2024), recorded over two winters in an unheated rehearsal room, followed. "Mühlenstraße" came out in October 2026.
He plays long sets and played six hours at the first Long Count, at Phonox in 2019. Other dates include fabric, Kater, RADION and Robert Johnson, and the Waterfloor at Watergate in November 2024, weeks before the club closed.
