Aline Roux composes for contemporary dance and installations as well as making records, and has worked for most of her career on the Île de Nantes, beside the old shipyards. Her live set is seated and built from modular synthesis and field recordings.
Coln was launched in 2022 to release her album "Chantiers", built on recordings of the shipyard cranes and a borrowed Serge system. "Loire Basse" (2023), the dancefloor EP "Hangar" (COLN003, 2024) and "Trentemoult" (2026) followed, making four records on the imprint.
She also has tracks on Round 3 and Round 6. Her first solo record on the main label, "Quai de la Fosse" (GLB060), is due in April 2027, with a further Coln album, "Erdre", in 2028. She has played Stereolux in Nantes and L'Ubu in Rennes.
