Not a club in the usual sense but an annual season, started in 2006 by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel, who had both worked at Sankeys. The first ran in the disused Boddingtons brewery in Strangeways. It then spent years in a former air raid shelter under Piccadilly station on Store Street, moved to Victoria Warehouse in Trafford, and since 2019 has been at Depot Mayfield, an old railway depot directly beside Piccadilly. DJ Mag lists the capacity at 10,000, though some shows use only the smaller Concourse space. The rooms are Depot, Concourse, Archive and, new for 2026, Vault. The 2026 season is the 20th, running from September to the turn of the year, with house, techno, drum and bass and live acts. The operators then announced a fallow year: 2027 will be scaled back to smaller events, and they have said the series will not return to Store Street. It placed 15th in DJ Mag's 2026 poll. Check the details before booking a train for next autumn.
