An annual fixture since 2013, Marvellous Island takes over the Île de loisirs de Vaires-Torcy, a leisure park east of Paris, for a weekend in late spring. The name is fair. There is water on most sides and an RER ride gets you most of the way. The festival says it has grown from a few thousand people to more than 30,000. The 14th edition ran on 23 and 24 May 2026 across five stages, with camping available, and Mind Against have appeared on its recent bills, which gives a fair idea of where its tastes sit. Tickets for 2026 were listed at 51.45 euros for a day. It is a Paris crowd's first big outing of the year, and it behaves like one, with the slightly reckless energy of people who have been indoors since October. The festival's site has the next edition on 15 and 16 May 2027.
