Hideout Festival

A British holiday with a very good sound system. Hideout has been held on Zrće Beach near Novalja on the island of Pag since 2011, using the permanent open-air clubs along the shingle and adding boat parties to the mix. The crowd comes mostly from the UK, and the music follows it: house, garage, bass and whatever has been big in British student unions that year. It runs midweek, over four days around the end of June, which helps with flights. We found no reliable attendance figure. Sonus, the more techno-minded festival on the same beach in August, was the other option for this list, but one report said its 2026 edition would not go ahead and other listings disagreed, so we went with the one that can show dates. The festival's own site gives 29 June to 2 July 2027, with pre-release packages already gone and the main sale and line-up due in November 2026. Bring sun cream. It is hard to overstate how exposed that beach is.
